Abstract of the Disclosure An injection molding machine having a resin pressure detector, which is capable of accurately detecting the resin pressure, without the need of correcting the detected resin pressure, and facilitates assemblage, maintenance, and replacement. A strain gauge is bonded on an annular member which is fixed to a rear end face of a metering bearing housing by bolts, and which has a rear end face to which a ball nut is fixed by bolts. Upon assemblage, no substantial deformation of the annular member occurs, and hence no zero point shift in the strain gauge is found, so that an accurate detection is achieved by the strain gauge. The maintenance and replacement of the annular member, disposed outside the housing, can be easily performed.
