-13- ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for supplying a selected quantity of gas to the mold of an injection molding machine utilizes two high pressure gas bottles which are connected through a pressure reducing valve to a piston reservoir for receiving a quantity of the gas. The piston reservoir is hydraulically powered to supply the gas to a further piston reservoir having a smaller volume which is connected through a valve to the mold. The second piston reservoir is also hydraulically powered for supplying a selected quantity of gas under a variable pressure to the mold.
