An injection molding machine utilizing brushless DC motors (20, 124, 156, 148, 103, 176, 182) in its servomechanism drive systems. Brushless DC motors provide a cost effective high power drive system which has the simplicity of control of brush-type DC motors. By utilizing higher resolution encoders (39) and controlling pressure with a servomotor velocity control loop, motor cogging and zero velocity oscillations are minimized.

Lesdits moteurs CC sans balais confèrent au système une grande puissance à moindre coût, tout en gardant la simplicité inhérente aux moteurs CC à balais. En utilisant des codeurs à résolution accrue et en contrôlant la pression au moyen de la boucle de servomoteur pour le contrôle de vitesse, on diminue les variations du couple moteur et les oscillations à vitesse nulle.
