A novel technique for molding multi-layer polymer plastic articles having inner, outer and interior or core layers by controlling relative volumetric flow rates of the inner and outer layers to enable relative shifting of the position of the core, and also therelative thickness of the inner and outer layers in the molded articles; and with leading, and, where desired, trailing ends of the interior layer flow into the mold cavity substantially positioned on the zero gradient of the velocity profile of the flowing polymer streams.

L'invention concerne un procédé de moulage d'articles à couches multiples en plastique comprenant des couches interne, externe et intérieure, ou couche de coeur, obtenus par régulation des débits d'écoulements volumétriques relatifs des couches interne et externe permettant de décaler relativement la position du coeur, ainsi que l'épaisseur relative des couches interne et externe des articles moulés, l'extrémité avant, ainsi que l'extrémité arrière, si on le souhaite, de la couche intérieure s'écoulant dans la cavité du moule sensiblement positionnée au gradient zéro du profil de vitesse des flux de polymère.
