ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An injection molding process by which the char- acteristics of a product may be controlled by molding the product of two or more dissimilar melts by simultaneous in- jection of the dissimilar melts into the mold in such a manner that the dissimilar melts intermix at transitional zones to provide a one-piece construction with strong chem- ical and/or mechanical bonds at the transitional zones.
