ABSTRACT A low cost, injection moulded plastics material skate boot, more particularly an ice skate boot, in which the upper shell is integrally moulded with the lower shell in such a way as to permit relative movement, at the ankle joint, between the upper and lower shells. In an alternative embodiment a prefabricated blade assembly is also embedded in the boot sole during the moulding operation.
