An injection port for an intravenous bag including a generally hollow tube that is mountable to the intravenous bag. The hollow tube has a first end. A polymeric plug is mounted in the first end. The polymeric plug is integrally molded into the tube proximate the first end. A method for construction the injection port including injecting a first molding material into a mold cavity, allowing the first molding material to at least partially cure and harden, moving a movable mold part to expose a first cavity defined by inner surfaces of the at least partially cured and hardened molding material, injecting a second mold material into the first cavity, allowing the second molding material to at least partially cure and harden such that the second molding material bonds with the inner surfaces and removing the injection port from the mold.

L'invention concerne un site d'injection destiné à une poche pour perfusion intraveineuse, ce site d'injection comprenant un tube généralement creux pouvant être fixé sur ladite poche. Ce tube creux présente une première extrémité dans laquelle est placé un bouchon polymère qui est moulé d'une seule pièce dans le tube à proximité de la première extrémité. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de ce site d'injection, ce procédé consistant à injecter une première matière de moulage dans une cavité de moulage, faire cuire et durcir au moins partiellement cette première matière de moulage, retirer une partie de moule amovible pour mettre à découvert une première cavité définie par des surfaces intérieures de la matière de moulage au moins partiellement cuite et durcie, injecter une seconde matière de moulage dans la première cavité, faire cuire et durcir au moins partiellement cette seconde matière de moulage pour qu'elle adhère aux surfaces intérieures et retirer le site d'injection du moule.
