A injection system for the delivery of a gaseous substance to a patient respiratory system is described herein. The injection system includes a controller unit and a valve assembly including a valve and a valve actuator allowing partial opening of the valve and controlled by the controller unit. The controller unit is supplied with gas flow data and controls the valve assembly so that the opening of the valve is a function to the gas flow to thereby enable the control over the concentration of the gaseous substance delivered to the patient.

Description d'un système d'injection pour envoyer une substance gazeuse dans le système respiratoire d'un patient. Le système d'injection comporte une unité de contrôle et un ensemble clapet constitué d'un clapet et de son actionneur qui permet une ouverture partielle du clapet et qui est contrôlé par l'unité de contrôle. L'unité de contrôle est alimentée en données sur le flux gazeux et contrôle l'ensemble clapet, l'ouverture du clapet étant tributaire du flux gazeux, contrôlant ainsi la concentration de la substance gazeuse administrée au patient.
