ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An injector for use in a flotation apparatus is provided. The injector includes a cylindrical conduit having an inlet for receiving a fluid at one end. the conduit includes a substantially vertical section extending into a flotation tank located in the flotation apparatus and is provided with an outlet for discharging the fluid into the tank. A baffle having bores provided therethrough is disposed in the conduit upstream from an air supply to churn the fluid before it is aerated by the air supply, thereby enhancing bubble generation in the fluid before it is discharged into the flotation apparatus.
