Injector (1) for injecting a traceable material into an oil and/or gas reservoir, the injector being lowered down in a bore hole that is in communication with the reservoir, followed by activating an electro-hydraulic system to inject a traceable material stored in a container into the reservoir. The injector is provided with a gland plate (7) that seals the space between the injector and the wall of the bore hole (16) in a manner that pevents traceable material to be distributed in the bore hole, but secures direct injection of the material into the reservoir. The injector is adapted to be positioned at a specific depth level in the bore hole, and to be cleaned by pressurised liquid after the injection operation is fulfilled.

Dispositif d'injection (1) d'un matériau traceur dans un réservoir de pétrole et/ou de gaz, qu'on abaisse dans un trou de forage communiquant avec le réservoir. On active ensuite un système électro-hydraulique, afin d'injecter ledit matériau, placé dans un conteneur, à l'intérieur dudit réservoir. Ce dispositif d'injection est pourvu d'une plaque presse-étoupe (7) obturant l'espace entre ledit dispositif et la paroi du trou de forage (16), de manière à empêcher la diffusion du traceur dans le tour de forage, mais en permettant son injection directe dans le réservoir. Ce dispositif d'injection est conçu pour être placé à un niveau de profondeur déterminé dans le trou de forage et pour être nettoyé au moyen d'un liquide sous pression après l'injection.
