A injector comprises a cylindrical barrel to which a needle is to be attached, and a plunger having a gasket on the tip thereof which slides within the cylindrical barrel. The gasket is in a substantially discoid form and has an annular groove to provide a bending portion which can bend either towards or away from the plunger. When a medical fluid is introduced into the barrel by retracting the plunger, the negative pressure inside the barrel results in the bending portion bending away from the plunger causing the gasket to tightly contact the inner wall surface of the barrel. When the medical fluid is discharged by pushing the plunger in the opposite direction, the positive pressure bends the bending portion towards the plunger so that the gasket again tightly contacts the inner wall surface of the barrel.
Cette invention concerne un injecteur facile à réaliser, de longueur totale réduite, comprenant un joint (6) qui assure une excellente étanchéité contre la paroi intérieure (4a) du corps de pompe (4) et qui est réalisé dans une résine synthétique d'une dureté Shore (A) de 20 à 70. Le joint (6) est généralement fabriqueé dans un élément discoïde dont une surface latérale complète forme une surface bombée (11) orientée vers la paroi intérieure (4a) le long d'un plongeur (5) et qui est en contact avec ladite paroi (4a) en un point de la surface bombée (11). Ce joint est relié à un doigt (10) via une partie perforée (12) à un intervalle qui permet audit joint (6) de se cintrer en direction du côté embout du plongeur (5). La surface du plongeur (5) comporte une partie à gorge annulaire (13) dont le diamètre est supérieur a celui du doigt (10) et qui présente une partie cintrée (14) dont la courbure est orientée axialement vers le plongeur au niveau de la partie inférieure (13a) de la partie à gorge annulaire (13) lorsque le joint (6) coulisse axialement dans le corps de pompe (4). Cette partie cintrée présente une forme telle que la distance entre le fond (13a) de la partie à gorge annulaire (13) et le sommet (P) de la surface incurvée (11) est inférieure au rayon de courbure de ladite surface bombée (11).
