The present disclosure relates to a replaceable ink container (12) for providing ink to an inkjet printing system. The inkjet printing system is of the type having a receiving station for receiving the replaceable ink container. The receiving station has a fluid inlet and a sealing structure. The replaceable ink container includes a reservoir defining a fluid outlet and a sealing surface (98) proximate the fluid outlet. The replaceable ink container also includes a sealing material (104) contained within the reservoir for wetting the sealing surface to seal defects between the sealing surface and the sealing structure.
La présente invention se rapporte à un récipient à encre (12) remplaçable, conçu pour alimenter en encre un système d'impression à jet d'encre. Ledit système d'impression à jet d'encre est du type ayant une station de réception conçue pour recevoir le récipient à encre remplaçable. La station de réception comporte une entrée pour fluide et une structure d'étanchéité. Ce récipient à encre remplaçable comprend un réservoir définissant une sortie pour fluide et une surface d'étanchéité (98) située à proximité de la sortie pour fluide. Ce récipient à encre remplaçable comprend également un matériau d'étanchéité (104) contenu dans le réservoir et conçu pour humidifier la surface d'étanchéité de manière à masquer les défauts entre la surface d'étanchéité et la structure d'étanchéité.
