INK DUCTOR SYSTEM Abstract of the Invention An inker for a printing press, utilizing an oscillating ductor roll, is provided with an adjustable eccentric member for setting the ductor roll to the fountain roll. The eccentric member is provided with a releasable mechanism which will permit continued contact between the ductor and fountain rolls, as during makeready operations, without affecting the adjustment of the eceentric member. This prevents ink transfer to the distributor and other inking rolls during the makeready operations. -1-
