Disclosed is an ink for use in a jet printer which comprises a pigment, a film- forming resin and an organic solvent. The film-forming resin comprises, as the main ingredient, an oil-modified or fatty acid-modified alkyd resin having an oil length of 20 to 70% which is modified with a modifier comprising at least one oil or fatty acid selected from the group consisting of castor oil, a castor oil fatty acid, hydrogenated castor oil, a hydrogenated castor oil fatty acid, ricinoleic acid and 12-hydroxystearic acid. Also disclosed are a siding material for use in an exterior wall and a method for manufacture thereof.

L~invention concerne une encre destinée à une utilisation dans une imprimante à jet, ladite encre comprenant un pigment, une résine filmogène et un solvant organique. La résine filmogène comprend, en tant qu~ingrédient principal, une résine alkyde modifiée par une huile ou par un acide gras ayant une teneur en huile comprise entre 20 et 70 %, ladite résine étant modifiée par un adjuvant comprenant au moins une huile ou un acide gras choisi dans le groupe consistant en l~huile de ricin, un acide gras de l~huile de ricin, l~huile de ricin hydrogénée, un acide gras de l~huile de ricin hydrogénée, l~acide ricinoléique et l~acide 12-hydroxystéarique. L~invention concerne également un matériau de bardage destiné à une utilisation pour un mur extérieur et un procédé de fabrication dudit matériau.
