The invention is an endorsing application ink jet ink composition containing at least a solvent and a colorant, and further containing a combination of at least one evaporation retardant and at least one absorption accelerator, the ink being characterized by an evaporation rate of less than or equal to 132 mg/sec. for a 2.0 gram sample at 125~C for five minutes, and an absorption rate of at least 90~g/sec. for a 5~L sample on 24# check stock, and to a process for using the same.

L'invention concerne une composition d'encre pour impression à jet d'encre destinée à l'endossement d'applications, qui contient au moins un solvant et un colorant, ainsi qu'une combinaison d'au moins un retardateur d'évaporation et au moins un accélérateur d'absorption. L'encre se caractérise par un taux d'évaporation inférieur ou égal à 132 mg/sec. Pour un échantillon de 2,0 grammes à une température de 125 °C pendant 5 minutes, et un taux d'absorption d'au moins 90 µg/sec. pour un échantillon de 5 µL sur 24# formule de chèque. L'invention concerne enfin un procédé d'utilisation de ladite composition.
