An ink-jet recorder includes a head part for circulating ink containing a solvent and a colorant dispersed in the solvent through an ink passage, aggregating the colorant by applying a voltage to an ejecting electrode, and ejecting the colorant so as to print a character. By aggregating a predetermined colorant right before the ejection of ink, the dot gradation is controlled. Thus, an ink-jet recorder for printing characters with high definition and high reliability is realized.

Ce dispositif d'enregistrement par jet d'encre comprend une partie tête, destinée à faire circuler, à travers un passage à encre, une encre contenant un solvant ainsi qu'un colorant dispersé dans le solvant, à faire s'agréger le colorant par application d'une tension sur une électrode de projection, et à projeter le colorant de manière à imprimer un caractère. Le fait de faire s'agréger un colorant déterminé, juste avant la projection de l'encre, permet de régler la gradation du point.
