An ink-jet recording head has ejection outlets formed by treating a face of a plate for the ejection outlets with a water-repellent and irradiating the plate with a laser beam from the backside of the face having been treated with the water-repellent, and it is provided with a sealing member for sealing the ejection outlets. The water-repellent has a hardness of higher than the pencil hardness 6B at room temperature. A second layer is formed on the layer of the water repellent in peripheral portions of the ejection outlets.
Cette invention concerne une tête d'imprimante à jet d'encre dont les orifices d'éjection sont réalisés dans une plaque dont une des faces est enduite d'un hydrofuge et dont l'autre face est irradiée par faisceau laser, lesdits orifices d'éjection étant recouverts d'un élément d'étanchéité. La couche hydrofuge présente une dureté supérieure à celle d'une mine de crayon B6 à température ambiante. Une seconde couche est formée sur la couche hydrofuge autour des orifices d'éjection.
