An image corresponding to a single sheet of recording paper is divided into three decomposed images each having the substantially same expansion as that of the image, and one of the decomposed images is recorded on the recording paper while a drum is rotated and the recording head is continuously moved at a distance corresponding to a width of the recording head. Subsequently, other decomposed images are successively recorded on the recording paper. Thus, recording of the respective decomposed image is performed at a predetermined time interval kept between two continuous recordings. The foregoing time interval can be used as a time required for ink permeation into the recording medium.
Une image correspondant à une seule feuille de papier d'enregistrement est divisée en trois images ayant chacune substantiellement la même extension que l'image originelle et l'une des images résultantes est enregistrée sur le papier d'enregistrement pendant la rotation du cylindre d'enregistrement et le déplacement continu de la tête d'enregistrement d'une distance égale à la largeur de celle-ci. D'autres images de décomposition sont ensuite enregistrées successivement sur le papier d'enregistrement. L'enregistrement de chacune des images de décomposition est donc effectué dans un intervalle de temps prédéterminé entre deux enregistrements continus. L'intervalle de temps suivant peut être utilisé pour permettre à l'encre de pénétrer dans le support d'enregistrement.
