The present invention relates to tinted optical lenses and to methods of manufacturing tinted optical lens. This invention relates to a method for tinting optical lenses using an ink receptor film. The method of the invention allows a good transfer of the color to the substrate which represents the support of lens, a good final coloration of the substrate with good color homogeneity. The invention relate also to a method of tinting optical lenses, using the said ink receptor film which is applied onto a primer layer coating the substrate of the lens . The ink receptor material comprises an inorganic filler and an water-based emulsion. Preferably the ink receptor material also comprises a water-soluble polymer, a modified cationic polymer and a carrier able to accelerate the absorption of the ink into the substrate.

La présente invention a trait à des lentilles optiques teintées et à des procédés de fabrication de lentille optique teintée. L'invention a trait à un procédé pour la teinture de lentilles optiques teintées au moyen d'un film de réception d'encre. Le procédé de l'invention permet un bon transfert de la couleur au substrat qui représente le support de lentille, une bonne coloration finale du substrat avec une bonne homogénéité de couleur. L'invention a également trait à un procédé de teinture de lentilles optiques, à l'aide d'un film de réception d'encre qui est appliqué sur une couche primaire recouvrant le substrat de la lentille. Le matériau de réception d'encre comporte une charge inorganique et une émulsion aqueuse. De préférence, le matériau de réception d'encre comporte également un polymère hydrosoluble, un polymère cationique modifié et un support apte à accélérer l'absorption de l'encre dans le substrat.
