This invention relates to an ink ribbon base fabric used for an impact type printer such as a serial dot printer and a line printer, and a production method thereof. Specifically, the ink ribbon base fabric consists of polyamide multi-filaments, and this base fabric has as many creases as the number of those of the third class or more when measured in accordance with JIS L1096. In a production method of such an ink ribbon base fabric comprising scouring a base fabric consisting of polyamide multi-filaments, and drying and heat- setting the base fabric, the method of the invention is characterized in that scouring is jet scouring and heat-set is carried out under tension so that as many creases as the number of those of the third class or more are left.
L'invention concerne un textile de base de ruban encreur utilisé dans une imprimante à impact telle qu'une imprimante par points en série et une imprimante ligne par ligne, ainsi que son procédé de production. Plus spécifiquement, ledit textile de ruban encreur qui est constitué de multi-filaments polyamide présente un nombre de plis correspondant à celui des textiles de classe III ou plus selon les normes JIS L 1096. Le procédé de production de ce type de textile de base de ruban encreur consiste à dégraisser par jet un textile de base constitué de multi-filaments polyamide, à le sécher et à le thermofixer tendu de manière à laisser au moins le nombre de plis correspondant à la classe III.
