The present invention relates to a base fabric for an ink ribbon having excellent durability of the welded part of an ink ribbon used an impact printer. Practically, it is characterized by a constitution wherein at least one yarn of the warp and the weft constituting the base fabric is constituted of a core/sheath-type composite yarn wherein the core is a polyamide polymer and the sheath is a polyamide polymer with a melting point being lower than that of said polyamide polymer.

La présente invention a trait à un support textile de ruban encreur doté d'une excellente durabilité de sa partie soudée. Le ruban est utilisé dans une imprimante à impact. Sur le plan pratique, l'invention est caractérisée par sa composition où au moins un fil de la chaîne et un autre de la trame formant le support textile est constitué d'un fil composite de type à âme/de type gainé dans lequel l'âme est un polymère polyamidique et la gaine est un polymère polyamidique dont le point de fusion est plus bas que celui du polymère polyamidique de l'âme.
