Docket M-294-C INKING MECHANISM Abstract of the Disclosure There is disclosed a printing apparatus having a print head and an inking mechanism for inking the print head. The inking mechanism has a pivotally mounted inker body and a spring for urging the inker body in one direction. The inker body has a pair of opposed slots and an ink roller for inking the print head. The ink roller is mounted by mounting structure including a pair of spaced members slidably received in the slots. The mounting structure includes a shaft connected to the members that rotatably mounts the ink roller, and there is a shoulder and projection connection for holding the mounting structure in the slots.
