An inkjet printer unit (2) comprising: a media input tray (3) for supplying print media (8) for printing; a print engine (1) for printing an image on said print media; and a media output tray (4) for collecting the printed media; wherein the print engine comprises a removable inkjet cartridge (10) of a type having a pagewidth printhead (22) and an ink supply (24) and a cradle (12) having a body adapted to receive the removable inkjet cartridge and to control the operation of the printhead for printing.
