A composition which cures in ambient conditions to form a film substantially impenetrable to heavy metals, contains water, a water-miscible organic solvent, a water-borne primary resin having a glass transition temperature of 25 degrees C or less, and a hydrophobic surfactant.

L'invention porte sur une composition qui durcit dans des conditions ambiantes pour former un film pratiquement impénétrable pour les métaux lourds, qui contient de l'eau, un solvant organique non miscible avec l'eau, une résine primaire à base d'eau ayant une température de transition vitreuse inférieure ou égale à 25°C et un tensioactif hydrophobe.
