At least the portion of the outer wall of the inlet conduit is provided with indentations which, together with the inner wall provided on the container closure, provide a container venting passage. The inlet conduit has at least one surface for engaging the container to block the venting passage, the container and conduit surface being disengageable responsive to motion of the piston.
