ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to a device for controlling the flow of fluid through a manhole inlet comprising a base plate having an opening therethrough, the base plate being releasably securable to the manhole with the base plate opening communicating with the manhole inlet and a plate having a notch along one edge thereof releasably securable to the base plate so as to adjust and control the flow of fluid through the manhole inlet.
