The invention relates to an inner lining for tanks containing a liquid, in particular gasoline tanks (1), with an intermediate layer (5) which can be placed against the tank wall, is air-permeable and electrically conductive, and a gasoline- resistant inner envelope (6) resting on it. The inner envelope (6) has a diffusion- proof layer (6a) on its side facing the tank wall, and an electrically conductive layer (6b) on its side facing the interior of the tank (Fig. 3).
