ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An inner shoe for ski boots or for use with shell- like uppers of ski boots. The inner shoe has a wall portion consisting at least in part of foamed, closed-cell elastic plastics material such as polyurethane, polyisoprene or poly- butadiene. The wall portion is peripherally closed and is pro- vided adjacent the hell and/or the instep area with a portion which has a higher extensibility than the remaining portion of the wall. The portion is divided into laminations which extend transversely to the peripheral direction and are alternately joined to form accordian-type pleats or folds.
