Manipulator device for inputting instruments and small-sized gadgets for internal inspection, checkup or performing various kinds of operation inside cavities or inner spaces of complicated profile. It consists of flat ring elements (Fig. 1, hereunder "rings") located on the same axis and connected to each other by pairs of V-folded bi-metal elements (Fig. 2, hereunder "bi-elements"). On pictures 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 solid black dots signify spots where bi-elements are fastened to rings. Adjacent pairs of bi-elements are angled at the right angle (90°) to each other (Fig. 4). Two bi- elements within the same pair are angled at 180° to each other (Fig. 3). Every bi-element is controlled separately by electric current. When electric current on given bi- element is on, the bi- element starts unfolding. The more current strength, the more angle of bi- element "wings" unfolding. Sending of electric impulses of different strength to different bi- elements (controlling of current strength for every bi-element will be executed by computer and is out of scope of this patent) allows to put the entire manipulator into any form, as complicated as needed, as well as increase/decrease its length or drive it any direction within cavity or inner space being investigated. Openings in the middle of rings form the canal of constant diameter, that allows thrusting in investigating device, tool or instrument (fiber-optic device, video-camera, surgical tool etc.).
