ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Adhesive compound which can be transformed into a metalloceramic cement by heat treatment. The binder is sodium disilicate and the powdered metallic filler is composed of a mixture of aluminium-coated stainless steel powder and ultrafine chromium powder. This adhesive compound is particularly useful to achieve assemblies offering high resistance to shearing when hot up to temperatures of the order of 600°C and which is capable of resisting repeated temperature variations (heat cycles).
