La présente invention concerne une membrane de filtration inorganigue comportant un support poreux en contact avec une couche séparatrice céramique sensiblement exempte d'oxygène formée à partir d'une combinaison d'au moins deux éléments choisis parmi le silicium, le bore, l'aluminium, le titane, le tungstène, le phosphore, le zirconium, l'azote et le carbone et déposée par le procédé de dépôt chimique en phase vapeur (CVD) ou par le procédé de dépôt chimique en phase vapeur assisté d'un plasma (PECVD). Les membranes selon l'invention sont plus particulièrement utilisables à la microfiltration, l'ultrafiltration et la nanofiltration tangentielle.
