The present invention relates to an input device which allows all the characters which it is desired to input to be arranged in a minimum input region so as to be suitable for miniaturization, as well as allows each of the arranged characters to be inputted through only one-input operation so as to enable rapid and correct input of a character. The input device comprises: a base having an input region; one or more sensing sections provided at the input region for sensing a contact with the input region or a contact movement to the input region; and a control section for extracting data corresponding to each input operation from a memory (not shown) and inputting the extracted data, according to the position of a contact point or the movement direction of the contact point sensed by the sensing section relative to a reference position indicating section provided at the input region.
La présente invention concerne une pérphérie de saisie permettant la disposition de tous les caractères que l'on souhaite saisir dans une zone de saisie minimale afin qu'ils puissent être miniaturisés, et permettant également la saisie des caractères disposés par une unique opération des saisie afin d'assurer une saisie rapide et correcte d'un caractère. La périphérie de saisie comporte : un socle comprenant une zone de saisie ; une ou plusieurs sections de détection prévues au niveau de la zone de saisie pour détecter un contact avec la zone de détection ou un mouvement de contact vers la zone de saisie ; et une section de commande pour extraire des données correspondantes à chaque opération de saisie à partir d'un mémoire (non représentée) et la saisie des données extraites, selon la position d'un point de contact ou de la direction de déplacement du point de contact détectés par la section de détection par rapport à une section d'indication de position de référence prévue au niveau de la zone de saisie.
