An input device is provided with a lever and movement-transmission/feedback mechanisms. Each movement-transmission/feedback mechanism includes two fluid-containing chambers; a pipe that connects the chambers; a link that links the lever and the chambers; a control data generation means for monitoring the movement of the link and converting the movement into electrical signals; a transmission circuit for transmitting the signals to a host device; a restriction means for controlling the fluid-flow status of the pipe; and a receiver circuit for driving the restriction means. This input device provides a more natural and responsive feeling of control when operating a host device to which the device is connected.
