n products used to protect screen doors (i.e. sliding doors) the usual practice has been to place one or more strips of coloured adhesive tape in an X-shape or slantwise across the door, and these strips eventually come unstuck. In many cases this is done after one or more accidents have occurred. In this invention, we use recycled plastic (PVC) that is cut to fit the various models, then receives the desired colour for the particular model in the form of a laminate or appliqué; the screen protector is then attached to the inside and outside of the screen with Velcro, without causing any damage and without the need for tools. According to our research at the Patent Office, no product of this type now exists.

Dans les produits servant à protéger les portes moustiquaire (ex. portes coulissantes) la pratique courante était de placer en forme de "X" ou de travers dans la porte, une ou plusieurs lamelles de ruban adhésif de couleurs, qui avec le temps se décolle(nt). Dans plusieurs cas cette pratique se fait après avoir eu un ou des accidents. Dans la présente invention, nous utilisons du plastique (PVC) recyclé et par la suite coupé selon la forme de différents modèles sur lequel est apposé ou laminé la couleur selon le modèle désiré, rejoint l'un a l'autre par un velcro adhésif qui permet d'apposer le sauve-moustiquaire au moustiquaire intérieur et extérieur sans faire aucun dommage et ne nécessitant aucun outil. Selon nos recherches au Bureau des brevets du Canada à Hull, Québec, aucun produit de ce genre n'existe.
