ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates in general to lighting fixture devices, and in particular to the covers over lighting fixture bulbs It relates to an entryway, with funnel-like characteristics, located in the surface of a lighting fixture cover, flared inward, terminating in a small port near the bulb. Its purpose is to trap insects inside the light cover. It may be constructed in various shapes, or combination of shapes, resulting in a funnel-like characteristic, which affords easy access to the light source, but practically prevents insects from exiting via the same route. It is aesthetically, or mechanically, free-form in shape and construction. It may be constructed of various clear or translucent materials suitable for lighting fixture covers. It may also be incorporated into an existing lighting fixture cover, or into an adapter which fits between an existing lighting fixture and its cover. Its practical use is as an alternate method of controlling flying insects around lights in patio areas and exterior doors, in food storage areas, in trash areas, and in gardens.
