Abstract An insert member for a collapsible container having a spout comprises an attachment section by means of which the insert can be mounted on the spout and an elongate body section pivotally attached to the attachment section and having a continuous liquid passage along its whole length, this passage being in fluid communication with liquid inside the container. As the walls of the container collapse during emptying, the insert member maintains a clear channel for flow of liquid from the interior of the container via the insert member to the spout.
