A liquid-containing member is insert molded into a body. The liquid-containing member may be in the form of a level vial (36), which can be insert molded in a mold cavity having a shape corresponding to a vial retainer or corresponding to a level. The mold cavity is defined by a pair of mold sections (77, 78) which are configured to form an opening in the body, and the level vial is positioned to extend across the areas of the mold sections defining the opening. The ends of the level vial extend into an area (79) of the mold cavity adapted to receive moldable material, such that injection of moldable material into the mold cavity surrounds and encapsulates the ends of the level vial. The vial is thus mounted to the body by means of the moldable material surrounding and encapsulating the ends of the vial, to securely engage the vial with the body and to eliminate a previously-required assembly step of mounting a vial to a body such as a vial retainer or a level.
L'invention concerne le moulage par injection d'un élément contenant un liquide dans un corps. L'élément contenant un liquide peut être en forme de fiole de niveau (36), pouvant être moulée par injection dans une cavité de moule dont la forme correspond à celle d'un support de fiole ou d'un niveau. La cavité de moule est définie par deux sections de moule (77, 78) configurées pour former une ouverture dans le corps et la fiole de niveau est positionnée de manière à s'étendre à travers les zones des sections de moule définissant l'ouverture. Les extrémités de la fiole de niveau s'étendent dans une zone (79) de la cavité de moule adaptée pour recevoir une matière pouvant être moulée, de sorte qu'une matière pouvant être moulée injectée dans la cavité de moule entoure et enrobe les extrémités de la fiole de niveau. Ainsi, on monte la fiole sur le corps au moyen de la matière pouvant être moulée entourant et enrobant les extrémités de la fiole, ce qui permet de mettre en prise de manière sûre la fiole avec le corps pour éliminer une phase antérieurement nécessaire de montage d'une fiole sur un corps tel qu'un support de fiole ou un niveau.
