Methods of manufacturing razor cartridges by insert molding are provided. In one method a support portion of a supported blade (18, 34) is loaded into an elongated blade slot defined by a core member (104), the core member (104) being configured to define a portion of a molding cavity. In other methods a resilient region (44) is provided in the blade housing (16) or a flexible region (F) of plastic adjacent each blade end in the finished product is foreseen. Furthermore, a method whereby the gate (126) is positioned so that a substantial portion of the resin flow goes by the blade ends is provided.
