INSERT TYPE FOOTWEAR ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Footwear adapted to be inserted within a sneaker or the like, preferably between the sneaker and a conventional sock. The footwear is made of a flexible, light, waterproof material which is breathable so that although moisture cannot enter the inside thereof, vapor can pass therethrough in order to afford a high degree of comfort to the wearer. The insert type footwear is constructed from a single-piece pattern which is seamed in a manner such that none of the seams run adjacent to the sole or heel region of the foot.
