ABSTRACT This invention is directed to partly advanced epoxy resin compositions and to products resulting from reacting and curing said compositions. The compo- sitions result from reacting a composition comprising a relatively low equivalent weight epoxy resin, and extender material, and at least a catalyst and for a curing agent. The composition is partially advanced in the absence of a solvent to the extent that the melt viscosity has increased to a value which is at least 20 percent greater than the melt viscosity of the initial mixture and the composi- tion is melt flowable at or below 250°C. The partly advanced epoxy resin composition is further reacted and cured with at least one curing agent therefor. The partly advanced epoxy resin compositions of this inversion are useful in coating, laminates, composites, adhesives and castings. 32,324A-F
