ABSTRACT INSPECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PNEUMATIC TIRE CASINGS A method and apparatus for inspecting a pneumatic tire casing 100 is described. The preferred apparatus includes a traversable assembly 50 which is pivotally and linearly movable, an X-ray source 60 and a detector 70 linearly spaced along the beam axis of the source 60 and attached to the assembly 50, and a means for energizing the source.
