ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to an installation for transporting fine-grained material to a consumer; the apparatus utilizing two alternately filled and emptied pneumatic pressure vessels, each having an outlet valve and a control nozzle in series therewith in the material discharge pipe. The outlet valves can be opened and closed for alternately delivering material from the vessels. The control nozzles are connected to a source of compressed air and air-distribution means through which the control nozzle still receives a reduced amount of compressed air when the associated outlet valve is shut off. With an installation such as this, a continuous and exactly metered delivery of fine-grained material is obtained without any mechanically-moved parts in the delivery path and with a low rate of flow in the delivery pipe.
