INSTANTANEOUS CALENDAR DEVICE FOR TIMEPIECES Abstract of the Disclosure A day disk (12) cooperates with a storage of mechanical energy via seven-position Maltese mechanism. A Maltese cross (11) of said mechanism is rigidly coupled and coaxial with the day disk (12). A transfer pin (10) of the Maltese cross (11) is set on a driven disk (6) of the storage, carrying a projec- tion (7) for the transfer of a toothed date ring (8). The lock- ing surfaces of the Maltese cross (11) lock on the driven disk (6). Provision is made of a free unloaded lever (13) whose one arm (14) locks in position the date ring (8) while the other arm of said lever rests against the projections of the Maltese cross (11 ) thereby relieving the moment of load of the calendar device on the gear train and improving the reliability of the timepiece.
