Abstract: An instrument with a crossed-coil type of movable magnet performs a desired indication by converting a signal in accordance with the state of an object under measurement and applying a current corresponding to a digital value after A-D conversion to the crossed coils. The input signal that corresponds to the state of the object under measurement is overlapped with a ripple. This enables an improvement in the resolution of the indication of a pointer connected to the magnet.
