ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A nestable cup of thermoplastics material having a turned-over downwardly extending collar circumjacent the wall of the cup at its upper lip. The collar includes a downwardly and outwardly extending shoulder between an upper portion and a lower portion of the collar which increases the rigidity of the collar so that it remains spaced from the wall when it is gripped by the user. The collar extends between 20 and 30 mm. below the lip of the cup.
