ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A process for bonding a fully heat-cured polyimide polymer to itself or another material by coating it with an adhesive layer of fully heat-cured organosiloxane-imide adhesive containing an organic peroxide and heat-curing the adhesive to crosslink it yields a heat and solvent-resistant polyimide insulated wire.
