TITLE OF THE INVENTION: INSULATED HOLLOW CHAMBERED WALL PLATE STIFFENED BY STRENGTHENING RIBS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A hollow chambered wall of hollow sectional aluminum sections, strengthened by reinforcing ribs forms an insulated wall plate. The ribs are secured to the chambered wall by screws screwed into blind riveted nuts. An insulating layer, for example a polyurethane foam layer, is applied to at least one outer sun- face of the hollow chambered wall. The reinforcing or strength- eying ribs, which rest on insulating shims or strips may be embedded in the insulating layer, or the layer may be applied between the ribs after the ribs have been attached to the chambered wall with the shims or strips. - 1 -
