Insulated Honeycomb Seal Abstract The application discloses the manufacture of a seal for a row of turbine blades in which the seal is a honeycomb seal and a layer of insulation is positioned in the cells of the honeycomb by flame spraying. A process for accomplishing the deposition of the insulation is also described.
