An insulated pipe structure suitable for use in an undersea pipeline comprises, intermediate its ends, an inner pipe (11) for serving as a conduit for fluid flow-ing through the pipe structure, thermally insulating material (3) extending around the inner pipe and an outer shell (2) extending around the insulating material (3). At each of the ends of the pipe structure the inner pipe is connected to the outer shell by a thermally insulating connecting el-ement (4) which is secured to the inner pipe (11) at least partly by virtue of adhesive forces between the inner pipe (11) and the connecting element (4). The thermally insulat-ing connecting element (4) and the outer shell (2) together protect the insulating material (3) from water ingress and from ambient pressure.

L'invention concerne une structure de tuyaux isolés utilisés dans une conduite de transport sous-marin comprenant des extrémités intermédiaires, un tuyau interne (11) servant de conduite pour l'écoulement d'un fluide à travers la structure du tuyau, un matériau d'isolation thermique (3) s'étendant autour du tuyau interne et une coque externe (2) s'étendant autour du matériau d'isolation (3). A chaque extrémité de la structure du tuyau, le tuyau interne est raccordé à la coque externe par un élément (4) de raccordement d'isolation thermique qui est fixé sur le tuyau interne (11) par le biais en partie au moins de forces adhésives s'exerçant entre le tuyau interne (11) et l'élément de raccordement (4). Ce dernier (4) et la coque externe (2) protègent le matériau d'isolation (3) de toute entrée d'eau et de la pression ambiante.
