ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A premade insulated fitting for electrically isolating a metal storage tank and associated piping is proposed, which retains the conventional method of a metal-to-metal securement of the piping. The fitting has an outer sleeve weldable to a storage tank, an inner sleeve spaced and electrically isolated from the outer sleeve by a ring of insulation material. The insulation material is preferably a two part formulation, such as various thermosetting polymers. The insulation is preferably poured into the spaced sleeves, and in addition to electrically isolating, also secures the sleeves and forms a seal therebetween. The fitting is premade and designed to be installed to the tank during manufacture of the tank or other like structure.
